I became a Christian relatively late in life but now love my Savior and have determined that He is the path to a fulfilling life and is a reliably firm foundation in which to put your trust. (Ps. 34:8)
I began teaching at OKCS in 1996, prior to that I spent six years teaching in the public education system. My twenties were spent in post-secondary education trying to determine what I wanted to be when I "grew up." The time spent pursuing an Engineering diploma, a Biology degree and finally an Education degree gave me the broad science background that allows me to teach all the high school science courses here at OKCS.
Working with students is a privilege and I enjoy learning from and interacting with them on a daily basis. Extracurricularly, I have been involved in taking students to the Mustard Seed Ministry for the past 20 years, have participated in the Mexico Mission trip and also have been involved in the birth and growth of our technology infrastructure at the school.
My best friend and wife, Sharlene, and I were married in 1990 and we now have three grown children. I am a native Calgarian who moved to Airdrie when we got married and then to Olds for my ministry at OKCS. We love to spend time together and frequently travel and enjoy the beauty of God’s amazing creation. When there is spare time I like working on construction projects, tinkering with old muscle cars, and enjoy an eclectic variety of music and movies.
