Flexible Learning 7 & 8
This year, I have the pleasure of being a part of the Flexible Learning Team and teaching the grade 7 and 8 students. I have been teaching in Chinook's Edge since 2016 and have taught a wide range of ages and subjects, my last 2 years of teaching was teaching high school humanities and foods at Koinonia. From March of 2020 to September of 2024, I didn't step into a classroom, but rather I was raising my sons at home, which has been the joy of my life. Ezra, my 5 year old son, is starting kindergarten this year and Cooper, my 2 year old son, is keeping me on my toes at home. My family loves to be outside, especially on the beach, but we enjoy anything active - hiking, biking, swimming, cross country skiing, skating, sledding, pickleball. My husband and sons really love fly fishing and hunting. I love growing food (and flowers), making food, going out to eat food, talking about food, and thinking about food and occasionally dabble in crafts and DIY house projects. I also love audiobooks and podcasts, catch me working fun facts I have learned into my lessons as much as possible!
"The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace; whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies - in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."1 Peter 4:7-11
