My educational career started overseas years ago in Sundsvall, Sweden, where I taught foods and fashion. When I was moving back to Canada, I never knew I would have the opportunity to teach at a Christian School. Olds Kononia has been my second home for a long time, where I taught high school social studies and 7-12 home economics. This year I’m excited to take on the role of career counselor at school. Teaching Careers in Grade 9, CALM, overseeing all the neat opportunities for students that the division offers and still teaching foods. Chinook’s Edge has amazing opportunities for students to experience different career paths through dual credit, work experience or internships to name a few. I’m also available to discuss credits, graduation requirements and dream about what life could look like after graduation.
When I’m not working I’m enjoying time with my family. We are usually busy in the kitchen baking, doing some crafts, gardening, watching the Oilers or out at the park with our dog, Honey.
