I am passionate about encouraging students to centre their lives around Christ. This is the foundation of my life and guides my teaching practice each and every day. Academics-wise, I am excited to be teaching in an area I am particularly passionate about: Social Studies! I am also an advocate for physical education and physical literacy. From playing sports, to coaching, to outdoor recreational activities, I strongly believe in the importance of everyone finding their own way to have a healthy relationship with movement and God’s beautiful creation. In my spare time, I enjoy playing hockey, hiking, hunting, swimming and spending quality time with my family and friends.

Having attended OKCS throughout my entire schooling experience, it is my great pleasure to continue my journey at Koinonia as a first-year teacher! I cannot overstate the role this amazing school has played in shaping who I am today, and I am excited to be a vessel used by God to help shape students’ lives.

“Let the word of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Colossians 3:16–17 (NIV)
