Kinder
I am so excited to be joining the teaching team at OKCS this year. I have lived in the area most of my life, and am, in fact, a Koinonia Alumni. I am passionate about early literacy and have several years of previous experience teaching Kindergarten at other schools. Teaching at Koinonia feels like coming home, and I am very excited to be able to invest in these young lives in a Christian teaching environment.
I am married to John, and we have three children, Tobias, Vera, and Colson. We live just outside of Didsbury on a “funny farm” with lots of cats, a few chickens, the occasional cow, and a field of garlic. My favorite things in life are: being a wife and mom, reading my Bible, living in the country, gardening, and drinking lattes with friends. As I go into this year of teaching, I am keeping this quote in the forefront of my mind:
“Wherever you are, be all there” (Jim Elliot).
I desire to be fully invested in my circles of influence, whether it is at home with my family or in the classroom with my students. I pray that God would use this school year for his glory.
